5 Tips Before Your Photoshoot

1. Don't stress - You hired a professional.  If they are any good at what they do, they really have seen it all.  You being stressed doesn't improve the quality of the images. Your stress will melt away once you get your hair and makeup done and you get some pose coaching. And if you feel a little nervous that is good, it means you are excited.

2. Rich solid colors - When in doubt, wear rich solid colors.  Solid color enhance an image and at the same time give a feeling of timelessness and leaves the focus on your face.

3. Don't worry about your weight - I love posing every different type of body shape and you losing 3 lbs isn't going to change anything!  You are beautiful as you are.

4. Practicing posing in the mirror - it doesn't have to be perfect, just see how it feels to move in front of a mirror, run your hand through your hair, put your hands on your hips.  This will help you feel more relaxed during shoot time.

5. Make an inspiration board - When my clients send me an inspiration board or “mood” board, it helps us get on the same page and helps me to create the look you are going for.
