3 Beautiful Spaces - For Portraits Sessions In Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

I have to admit this.

I am a huge fan of nature and the outdoors.

If I could shoot all of my portrait sessions outside, I probably would.

Though the name may not sound like, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania has some absolutely world class locations for portraits sessions.

These are 3 of my favorite locations for portrait sessions in Pittsburgh.

Schenley Park - Phipps Conservatory

Schenley Park is a lovely sprawling park, essentially in the middle of the city, chock full of fabulous opportunities to create images. I’ve taken great photos nearby by the cobblestone walkway, by Phipps conservatory and by the iconic Panther Hollow Bridge. Golden Hour is perfect for getting rich bronze tones on flagstaff hill right across from Phipps.

North Park

North Park has a great variety of looks, a lake, forest, river and a couple great places to eat nearby. If you are tired and hungry by the of the photoshoot, check out Over The Bar Bicycle Cafe located in the actual boathouse.

Whenever I am in the moody to photograph something rich, moody and classic, North Park is my go to choice.

Soergel Orchards

Soergel Orchards is absolutely exquisite during the fall! It is essentially a giant market and farm with beautiful cornfields and pumpkin patches. I love the color orange and taking pumpkin photos doesn’t get old.
